What graduate degree should I go for to work with derivatives?

Can you answer booshface’s question about Degrees?:

What would be the best graduate degree to get to work with derivatives? Should I go into financial enigineering, or financial management, or are there any schools that offer a advanced degree in derivatives? thanks

Degrees Feedback: MBA then find a “street” firm that works them.

Degrees Feedback: If you want to work with derivative options I think the best thing you could do is to acquire your CFA. You are bound to find lots of offers from Hedge fund companies this way. If you want to go to grad school instead I would recommend Financial management.

Degrees Feedback: It will depends on what aspect of derivatives you want. For analyst, a finance degree and CFA. For quants, economics with programming and modeling emphases. For fund manager, just about any business or finance related degree as long as you can pass the licensing exams.

    Best wishes.
