I am a Physical Therapist with a B.S. Degree and a 4.0 pt. average looking for an accredited university in the US to continue my education and gain a DPT. I have recently received a green card(permanent residence).

Degrees Feedback: If you already are a degreed therapist from another country, you may not even need to do this…I would submit your educational records to the federation of state boards of physical therapy in the state in which you hope to practice. If deemed elligible, you could sit for the licensure exam.

Otherwise, what you would first need to do is to determine if you have met all the prerequisite courses for the DPT program. General chem, bio, physics, statistics, calc and/or trig and various psych courses. If you’ve met these courses already, you will need to take the TOFEL if educated in a non-English speaking country, also take the GRE and apply for admission.
